It has been reported that that US President Biden has not invited President Erdogan to the Democracy Summit to be held in Washington on December 9-10

According to the list leaked to the press, Turkey, China, Russia, Iran and Afghanistan are the countries not included in the invitation list covering the names of more than 100 countries.

Only a short while ago, Erdogan and Biden had met as part of the G20 summit.

This meeting was summarized as follows: Erdogan wanted to ‘strengthen relations’… while the White House highlighted the issues of the S-400, human rights, democracy and the rule of law.

Note: It was stated that the news had been leaked by the US-based press organization POLITICO. According to documents obtained by POLITICO, Turkey, a NATO member, was not invited to the summit on the grounds that “its leader undermines the democratic system”.
