Five more people have died due to consuming fake alcohol in Istanbul, bringing the death toll to 38. According to reports, 88 people across the city have been hospitalized after being poisoned by counterfeit alcohol. The affected individuals sought treatment in various districts, including Güngören, Beyoğlu, Bakırköy, and Başakşehir.
27 PEOPLE IN INTENSIVE CARE
Out of the 88 people treated in hospitals, 38 have unfortunately passed away despite all efforts. It has been reported that 27 patients are currently in intensive care.
PATIENTS ESCAPED FROM HOSPITALS
Additionally, it has been reported that one patient, who was admitted due to fake alcohol poisoning, refused treatment, while two others left the hospital without authorization.
