The Fethiye Film Festival (FFF) is a young and vibrant film festival held in Fethiye, Muğla, Turkey. Since its debut in 2023, the festival has grown into an important cultural event for cinema lovers, offering screenings, workshops, and discussions while remaining free and accessible to all.
Festival Dates and Background
The third edition of the Fethiye International Film Festival will take place on November 5–9, 2025. The event is organized by the Fethiye Photography and Cinema Association (FEFSAD). The first edition in December 2023 featured 35 screenings and 5 side events, while the second festival in November 2024 continued with the tradition of free entry for all screenings and activities.
Selection Committee and Categories
All films presented during the festival are carefully chosen by a dedicated selection committee. Separate juries are responsible for the categories of Documentary, Fiction, and Experimental & Animation films, ensuring a diverse and high-quality program.
Submission Guidelines
The Fethiye Film Festival accepts entries in national short fiction, experimental, animation, and documentary categories, as well as international experimental and animation films. Eligible films must have been produced in 2024 or 2025. Fiction, experimental, and animation entries must be under 20 minutes, while documentaries must be under 75 minutes. Films that have already been screened elsewhere are not eligible.
Applicants whose films are selected must provide a screening copy in DCP or at least 4K format, subtitles in English (and in Turkish if the film is not in Turkish), a trailer link, poster in A3 or A4 size, four promotional stills, and a synopsis in both Turkish and English. Selected films may be promoted on the festival’s website, social media channels, or television through trailers and posters. Some films may also be shown outside Fethiye as part of a curated program, with prior notice to the filmmakers.
