Another success of Turkish women in the sky has been added. Gökçe Kübra Yıldırım, who started her aviation career by doing an internship at Turkish Airlines (THY) Technical Inc., decided to follow her dreams of flying.
After completing the necessary training, she started working as a second pilot in THY’s Airbus fleet. Later, Yıldırım made the decision to continue her career in Dubai.
The Turkish female pilot, who entered the aviation industry 12 years ago, is now flying the Airbus A380, the world’s largest double-deck aircraft, as a captain pilot for the largest airline in Dubai.

Sharing her feelings on social media, Turkish female pilot Gökçe Kübra Yıldırım said, “The journey I started 12 years ago has brought me to the point of becoming a captain today. Every step, every challenge, and every success has taught me a lot. This profession is not just a job, it has become a part of my life. I would like to thank everyone who has supported me and been behind me to help me get to where I am today.”
