This sport is performed in Alaska, Canada and the Alpine mountains in the world and in Rize’s Kaçkar Mountains in Turkey. Obviously, the excitement of helicopter skiing will also be experienced this year and Turkey will be the country to host it. About 350 skiers from Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Germany, France and Russia have already booked for KAÇKAR which hosts about 200 skiers every year.
This year some countries have closed their mountains for heli-skiing (heliski) and as the snow quality is really good in Kaçkars, the interest for this region has seriously increased. This year the region aims to welcome more than 350 adrenaline enthusiasts from different destinations. Skiers arrive with Covid tests already completed.
