Hike in fuel prices once again: Gasoline and diesel experience significant increases

Fuel prices are subject to fluctuations based on Brent crude oil prices and currency exchange rates. The recent increase in gasoline and diesel prices has been reflected in pump prices. Below are the prices of gasoline and diesel (diesel) as of March 15, 2024.

Citizens are closely monitoring gasoline and diesel prices in response to changes in Brent crude oil prices and currency exchange rates. A barrel of Brent crude oil is currently trading at $84.08 on international markets. Data indicating robust demand in the United States, the world’s largest oil consumer, have played a significant role in driving price movements.

As of today, March 15th (Friday), there has been a price increase of 1 lira and 53 kurus in the gasoline category, effective immediately. Similarly, there has been a price increase of 1 lira and 10 kurus in the diesel category.

Gasoline price in Istanbul, Anatolian Side: 41.96 TL per lite
Diesel price in Istanbul, Anatolian Side: 41.75 TL per liter

Gasoline price in Istanbul, European Side: 42.06 TL per liter
Diesel price in Istanbul, European Side: 41.83 TL per liter

Gasoline price in Ankara: 42.78 TL per liter
Diesel price in Ankara: 42.63 TL per liter

Gasoline price in Izmir: 43.00 TL per liter
Diesel price in Izmir: 42.83 TL per liter
