According to March data from Endeksa, housing prices have skyrocketed across Istanbul. Four districts now have average home prices over 15 million TL, making home ownership increasingly difficult.
Comparative Price Increases (EU vs Turkey):
- EU: Home prices increased by 25% since 2020.
- Turkey: Home prices increased by a staggering 1,104% in the same period.
Despite the high prices, increasing rental income and shorter payback periods (amortization) are still making property investment appealing in some districts.
