How much did investment instruments gain in Istanbul Stock Market this week?

This week, the performance of various investment instruments was as follows: Stocks on the Borsa Istanbul (BIST) saw an average decline of 0.86%, while gold, the euro, and the U.S. dollar all posted gains.

– BIST 100 Index: After reaching a low of 9,708.34 points and a high of 10,078.12 points, the BIST 100 Index ended the week down by 0.86%, closing at 9,821.96 points.

– Gold: The price of 24-karat gold in the Grand Bazaar increased by 2.63%, reaching 2,688 Turkish lira per gram. The price of a Republic gold coin rose by 2.46%, to 17,735 lira, and the quarter gold coin’s price went up from 4,345 lira to 4,451 lira.

– Currency: The U.S. dollar appreciated by 0.49%, reaching 33.7010 lira, while the euro rose by 1.16%, reaching 37.0610 lira.

– Investment Funds: These saw an overall gain of 0.69%, with pension funds increasing by 0.52%. Among investment funds, “Precious Metal” funds were the top performers, gaining 3.89%.

Overall, gold and the euro were the top performers this week, while stocks saw a decline.
