Based on an article published on SOZCU.com.tr, it is forecasted that the amount of money Turkish tourists will pay for vacations on the Greek Islands will vary between 11,000 and 66,000 Turkish Lira.

In the 10 Greek islands where Turks will be granted a one-week visa upon arrival (Rhodes, Kos, Samos, Chios, Kastellorizo, Symi, Icaria, Limnos, Lesbos, and Kimolos), the cost of vacation has been roughly calculated.

According to a report on said web page, accommodation prices on the 10 islands (included in the program) range between 11,000 and 66,000 Turkish Lira. With this initiative, it is expected that those who complained about high prices in places like Bodrum and Alaçatı last year, would likely to shift their focus to the Greek Islands.

In Rhodes, for example, a 6-night stay for 2 adults, including dinner, costs 65,472 TL in June. In a SPA hotel with breakfast included, the accommodation cost for 6 nights for 2 adults is 35,598 TL. Another preferred island, Chios, offers prices starting from 11,000 TL. The price for a 6-night stay for 2 people in a hotel with breakfast included is 29,820 TL.

For Midilli, the cost for a 6-night stay for two people in a hotel with breakfast included is 18,402 TL, while in another hotel with a sea view, the price is 28,000 TL.

The round-trip fare for ferries departing from Marmaris to Rhodes is 80 Euros (2,496 TL). For the on-arrival visa application, prices are expected to be between 50-70 Euros (1,560-2,184 TL), and the gateway to the most affordable vacation on the islands starts from 20,000 TL.

In addition to the 15 TL Port Fee for departures from Turkey, there is a 150 TL foreign exit fee. On the other hand, the average daily car rental cost on the islands is 25 Euros (780 TL). Unlike in Turkey, there is no fee for entering beaches in the Greek Islands. The rental fees for two sun loungers and an umbrella on free beaches are around 15 Euros (468 TL).

The normal visa fee, including the service fee charged by the intermediary company, currently ranges between 120-200 Euros.
