Japan ready to cooperate with Turkey in domestic auto production

Japan’s Senior Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs Ryuji Yamane yesterday said to Science, Industry and Technology Minister Nihat Ergun that Japan was always ready to cooperate with Turkey in domestic automobile manufacturing.

Ergun received Yamane and the accompanying delegation at his office at the ministry, where he said that the cooperation between Turkey and Japan wasn’t sufficient to them and that the trade volume between the two countries should be increased.

Speaking in his part, Yamane said that Turkey had initiatives to manufacture its own domestic automobile and that Japan was ready to cooperate with Turkey in sharing of technology and information on the issue.

Ergun stated that they welcomed the cooperation offer made by Yamane.
