This time, it’s not just a small adjustment. A significant automatic increase in fuel prices is expected, driven by a projected 6-month domestic producer price index (Yİ-ÜFE) of 14.61%. Here’s what that could mean: gasoline might go up by 2.10 TL per liter, diesel by 1.97 TL, and LPG by 1.61 TL.
What Are the Current Fuel Prices?
Let’s take a look at where prices stand today—July 3, 2025—before the expected hike kicks in. Prices vary slightly by region, but the overall trend is clear: the cost of fueling up in Turkey has never been higher.
Istanbul (European side)
Gasoline is currently selling for 48.93 TL per liter, while diesel is priced at 50.24 TL. LPG stands at 25.09 TL per liter.
Istanbul (Anatolian side)
Just across the bridge, gasoline is a bit cheaper at 48.79 TL. Diesel is at 50.13 TL, and LPG comes in at 24.49 TL.
Ankara
In the capital, drivers are seeing some of the steepest prices: 49.61 TL for gasoline and 51.10 TL for diesel. LPG is sitting at 24.99 TL.
İzmir
On the Aegean coast, prices are among the highest. Gasoline hits 49.93 TL per liter, diesel is at 51.43 TL, and LPG is just a hair under 25 TL at 24.94.

With the automatic pricing mechanism tied to inflation and tax policies, these numbers are almost certainly headed upward.
