Heavy Rain and Snow in the Mediterranean Region
According to the official statement, starting from late night hours, Antalya’s eastern districts and western parts of Mersin will be affected by strong precipitation. Coastal areas are expected to receive heavy rain and showers, while locations at elevations above 1,500 meters will likely see sleet and heavy snowfall.

Other Regions
Heavy snowfall is expected across Eastern, Southeastern, and Central Anatolia, with locally intense snow likely to cause disruptions, especially in higher elevations. Several provinces in the east and southeast will see strong snowfall from early morning through Thursday, gradually weakening in some areas.
At sea, storm-force winds are forecast in the Eastern Black Sea, Northern Aegean, and Eastern Mediterranean, reaching up to 8–9 Beaufort in places before easing by Thursday.

Officials warn of possible transportation disruptions, flooding in coastal areas, ice and frost in regions affected by snow, blizzard conditions at higher elevations, and avalanche risks on steep slopes with heavy snow cover. Citizens are advised to remain alert and take necessary precautions.
