Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy who came together with tourism workers on the occasion of May 1st Labor and Solidarity Day, said, “Our target for 2023 is 60 million visitors, 56 billion dollars. God willing, we aim to increase this figure to 90 million visitors and 100 billion dollars in revenue by 2028. In this context, of course, Turkey has made great preparations.”
Ersoy met with tourism workers at a hotel in Antalya on the occasion of May 1st Labor and Solidarity Day. Listening to the demands of tourism employees, Ersoy told reporters after the meeting that Turkey is one of the few tourism destinations in the world.
The Minister of Culture and Tourism stated that they had put qualified tourists at the forefront in tourism, and qualified personnel were important for this.
