Jet2, one of the UK’s major tour operators, increased its seat capacity to Kemer by 9 percent, reaching 510,000 seats. The promotional agreement with Jet2 continues to bear fruit. With an increase observed in the number of British guests coming to Kemer compared to previous years, after a promotional agreement worth 60,000 euros led by Mayor Necati Topaloğlu, Jet2 allocated 510,000 seats to Kemer.

Meanwhile, Jet2 officials noted that 78 percent of British guests coming to Kemer were arriving for family vacations. Mayor Topaloğlu stated in his announcement that they continued to promote Kemer, one of Turkey’s most significant tourism destinations, in the best possible way.

Mayor Topaloğlu recalled the previous 60,000 euro promotional agreement with Jet2, saying, “The agreement we made continues to bear fruit. There is a significant increase in the number of guests coming from the UK. They have allocated 510,000 airplane seats to Kemer this year. They said there is a 213 percent increase in the number of British guests coming to Kemer compared to last year. This is very important for us. They mentioned that they are looking for open hotels in Kemer for the winter months of 2025. We continue our efforts to revitalize winter tourism as well. We expect a good tourism season this year.”
