Pegasus Airlines is set to launch direct flights between Bristol Airport (UK) and Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport (Turkey) starting July 8, 2025, entering into direct competition with easyJet on this route.

The low-cost Turkish carrier will operate three weekly flights on this new route.

While easyJet already serves the Bristol–Istanbul corridor, Pegasus is not only offering direct access to Istanbul, but also providing passengers with convenient connections via Istanbul to destinations such as:

In addition, Pegasus will offer connections to Turkey’s popular holiday destinations like Antalya, Bodrum, Izmir, and Dalaman.

This new year-round service is expected to be an appealing alternative for UK travelers who previously had to fly via London airports, while also contributing to a potential increase in tourist arrivals to Southwest England.

Bristol Airport CEO Dave Lees said:

“We are delighted to welcome Pegasus Airlines to Bristol Airport. This new route offers travelers expanded options for connecting flights to countries such as Turkey, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia. It also enables visitors who previously entered the UK via London airports to directly explore our region.”

“This is a great development for inbound tourism, families wanting to reconnect, and internationally connected businesses across Southwest England and South Wales.”
