Political survey shows decline in vote of Turkey’s ruling party down to 30 percent

According to the latest survey of the Turkey Report (survey company) which conducts research on elections and social events in Turkey, the AK Party’s votes continue to decline, although the growing number of undecided people do not seem to have switched to the opposition, yet.

Sharing the results of the latest opinion polls, Director of the Turkey Report, said that after the “undecided” were disbanded, the AK Party’s vote share remained below 30 percent, which is also behind the rate achieved in 2002 (when AK Party came to power).

The details of the latest research shared by said company are as follows:

The survey was conducted with one thousand 500 people throughout Turkey by computer-assisted telephone interview method, between 7-13 September 2021.

The survey asked respondents “Which party would you vote for if there were a general election this Sunday?” and the following answers were received:

AKP 23.7 percent.
CHP 18.2 percent.
Undecided 17.8 per cent.
GOOD Party 11.1 percent.
HDP is 9.7 percent.
‘I’m not going to vote’ is 9.2 per cent.
‘MHP’ is 6.4 percent.
DEVA Party 1.4 percent.
Other 1.1 per cent.
Future Party 0.7 percent.
Felicity Party 0.7 percent.

After the unstable ones are distributed, the resulting table:

AKP 29.9 percent.
CHP 25.7 percent.
GOOD Party 15.3 percent.
HDP 11.7 percent.
MHP 9.4 percent.
DEVA Party 2.7 percent.
Other 2.2 per cent.
Future Party 1.9 percent
Felicity Party 1.1 percent
