President Erdogan met with journalists in Ankara. The following are the main lines from Erdogan’s statements he made in said interview on TRT television.
* Turkey will continue its positive separation.
* (Year-end growth) Our expectation is that we will find 10 (percent). Our estimate is at least 10, but it can also exceed this figure.
* Only we can prevent exchange rate speculation (meaning AK party).
* Turkey’s economy is very strong. Some from abroad are trying to make it look weak. There’s no turning back.
As Erdogan spoke in the meeting with the journalists, dollar / TL rate kept climbing up.
