In a statement from the Kremlin, it was announced that Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit North Korea tomorrow.
The relations between Russia and North Korea are strengthening. Following North Korean leader Kim Jong-un’s visit to Russia last year, President Vladimir Putin is now reciprocating with a visit.
KREMLIN STATEMENT
The Kremlin’s statement noted that Putin will travel to North Korea tomorrow and that the visit will continue until Wednesday.
The statement highlighted that this visit is a rare journey underscoring Moscow’s developing partnership with a nuclear-armed state.
It further stated, “At the invitation of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, Vladimir Putin will make a friendly state visit.”
