According to the weekly Covid-19 data of the Ministry of Health, on 13-19 June, 10,954 people tested positive for the test while 19 people lost their lives. The number of those who recovered was 7,653.
The number of cases per week, which stood at around 7,500 in the first half of June, has increased by about 50 percent this week.
Since March 11, when the first case of Covid-19 was detected in Turkey, the number of cases has increased to 15 million 96 thousand 696, while 99 thousand 15 people have died. The total amount of vaccines administered to date has reached 147 million 818 thousand 598 doses.
The 10 provinces of with highest rate of double vaccination for people over age of 18 were Osmaniye, Ordu, Amasya, Mugla, Kırklareli, Çanakkale, Eskişehir, Balıkesir, Manisa and Zonguldak
The provinces with least double vaccination rate were Şanlıurfa, Batman, Siirt, Diyarbakır, Bingöl, Muş, Mardin, Bitlis, Ağrı and Elazığ.
