THY increases fee for private passenger lounges

Turkish Airlines (THY) has increased the usage fees for its private passenger lounges (CIP lounges) by 50%. The new price hike, implemented on July 1st, has set the usage fee for THY’s Istanbul Domestic CIP lounge at 1,350 TL.

Over the past year, Turkish Airlines has nearly doubled the fees for its private passenger lounges. With the 50% increase effective from July 1st, the usage fees for CIP lounges are now as follows:

– Istanbul: 1,350 TL (up from 900 TL)

– Antalya and Izmir: 1,250 TL

– Bodrum: 1,450 TL

– Ankara: 900 TL

– Adana, Kayseri, Diyarbakır, Gaziantep, Hatay, Trabzon, Rize: 750 TL

Additionally, the fee for the international CIP lounge in Vnukovo (Russia) is set at $50.

Turkish Airlines typically raises the fees for its private passenger lounges approximately every six months. The new fees will be valid from July 1 to December 31, 2024, and will be increased again in the new year.
