Located in the Manavgat district of Antalya, Titreyengöl is situated approximately 10 km from the town center, in the Sorgun neighborhood.

Blending the unique harmony of forest, lake, and sea, Titreyengöl, with its peaceful and serene nature, is one of Manavgat’s most important tourist areas, covering an area of about 3000 square meters. In addition to its natural richness, Titreyengöl offers attractive holiday options to its visitors with luxurious accommodation facilities and a variety of entertaining activities.

The lake is actually formed by the waters of a branch of the Manavgat River spreading out over a wide area before flowing into the sea, giving it a lake-like appearance. It is called Titreyengöl (Shivering Lake) because even the slightest breeze makes the waters quiver.

Another story about how the area got its name involves a fisherman who lived nearby and fed the birds and ducks. According to the legend, one day, a group of people came to the lake and started hunting the birds. The fisherman tried to stop them, but the hunters pushed him aside and began collecting the ducks they had caught. The ducks, seeing this, banded together and flew away, causing the hunters to flee. Since then, the lake has always trembled, which is interpreted as the ducks mourning for the fisherman who had always fed them.

As a vibrant tourism center, the area features hotels on both the lakeshore and the seaside, known for their comfort and professional service quality. Visitors can enjoy the unique landscapes of Titreyengöl, relax with sun, sea, and sand, or explore the historical and natural beauties of nearby Manavgat and Side for a more active holiday.
