TUIK announces inflation figures in Turkey for November 2021

It has been announced by TURKSTAT that the annual consumer inflation for November is calculated at 21.31 percent. In October, the rate was 19.89 percent. The inflation calculated by ENAG was 58.65 percent.

Inflation figures for November have been released. Consumer prices increased by 3.51 percent month-on-month in November, while annual inflation increased from 19.89 percent to 21.31 percent.

Core inflation rose to 17.62 percent from 16.82 percent. Inflation had been announced as 2.39 percent monthly and 19.89 percent annually in October.

The CPI thus reached its highest level since September 2018. The main groups where the increase was higher compared to the same month of the previous year were restaurants and hotels with 28.90 percent, food and soft drinks with 27.11 percent, household goods with 25.14 percent, respectively.
