Turkey expected to host 500,000 Polish tourists this year

Coral Travel Group, one of Turkey’s leading tourism brands, is celebrating its 25th year in the Polish market. Approximately 300 travel agencies from all over Poland and 55 hotel representatives from seven different countries gathered at “Coral Travel Poland – Summer Fest 2024.”

At the successfully completed event, the Deputy General Manager of Sales and Marketing at Coral Travel Poland, shared information about the activities for the summer season of 2024, plans for the next year, and new destinations to be opened. Participant agencies and hotel representatives shared insights about the industry in various workshops.

 “We Serve 900,000 Polish Tourists”

The Vice President responsible for Poland at Coral Travel Group, stated that their market share in Poland, where they had been operating for 25 years, had exceeded 20%. He said, “Among the 10 source markets we operate in Europe, Poland leads. This year, we are providing holiday services to around 900,000 Polish guests in various countries including Turkey, Greece, Spain, Egypt, Tunisia, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Dominican Republic. We are preparing to host 500,000 Polish guests in Turkey throughout 2024.”

He emphasized that their annual summer festival had been very productive, adding, “Our event aims to increase cooperation opportunities between travel agencies and hotel representatives, in addition to offering various workshops to the participants. This meeting, organized by Coral Travel Poland, provides an important platform for strengthening innovations and collaborations in the sector.”

 Continuing to Grow in Europe

Coral Travel Group’s European tour operator activities, which started in Poland, are continuing with the expansion into Germany, Austria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and the opening of services in the Czech Republic, Switzerland, and Romania in 2023. The group is also starting organized holiday sales in the Netherlands, thus operating in a total of 10 source markets in Europe. Coral Travel, which served 1.6 million European tourists in 2023, aims to host 2 million guests from European source markets this year.
