Rising Tourism Momentum Continues
Turkey’s Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, announced that the country hosted a total of 55,676,237 visitors in the first ten months of the year, including 47,252,314 foreign tourists.
Sharing the update on his social media account, Minister Ersoy emphasized that Turkey’s upward trend in tourism continues steadily.
Strong October Performance
According to Ersoy’s statement, Turkey welcomed 5,683,717 foreign visitors in October 2025, marking a 4.32% increase compared to the same month of the previous year.
Germany and the Russian Federation maintained their leading positions as the top two countries sending visitors, while the United Kingdom ranked third.
Visitors from Germany increased by 6.20%, and those from the Russian Federation increased by 11.44%.
Tourism Focused on Culture and Leisure
During the first ten months, 96.20% of all visitors came to Turkey for culture, sightseeing, and holiday purposes. Minister Ersoy highlighted that this high percentage once again confirms Turkey’s strong position in global tourism.
He added that Turkey continues to display an impressive rise with its tourism diversity, service quality, and internationally recognized brand value.
