Turkey’s Foreign Ministry: Evacuation of Turkish citizens to leave Lebanon will take place tomorrow

Announcement from the Ministry Regarding the Evacuation of Turkish Citizens Wishing to Leave Lebanon… The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that the evacuation of Turkish citizens wishing to leave Lebanon will take place tomorrow.

In the statement regarding the evacuation of citizens from Lebanon, the Ministry stated that the evacuation by sea of those who applied to leave Lebanon would take place tomorrow (October 9). The statement continued as follows:

“In this context, it is anticipated that two ships from our Naval Forces will set sail for Beirut today. The total capacity of our ships is approximately 2,000 passengers. Details regarding the evacuation process will be shared separately with our citizens who have already contacted our Consular Call Center.

If necessary, the evacuation procedures will continue in the following days. Preparations have been completed to meet the needs of our citizens upon their arrival in our country. The ships assigned for the evacuation will also transport our humanitarian aid to Lebanon.”
