Turkish Airlines (THY) has canceled 437 flights scheduled for today from Istanbul and Sabiha Gökçen airports due to adverse weather conditions.
According to the statement of Turkish Airlines Press Consultancy, a total of 407 flights were canceled today, including 357 departures/arrivals from Istanbul Airport and 50 departures /arrivals from Sabiha Gökçen Airport due to adverse weather conditions.
After the snowfall intensified in the afternoon, 30 more flights were canceled as follows: “Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) 8 departures and arrivals, Istanbul Airport 22 departures and arrivals, a total of 30 more flights. As of March 12, the total number of canceled flights to Istanbul Airport and SAW airport so far has been 437.”
