Following the intensification of Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon, Turkish Airlines (THY) has canceled two of its scheduled flights today due to security concerns.
Hezbollah recently announced that it had launched an attack on Israel in retaliation for the assassination of one of its senior commanders, Fuad Shukur. In response, Israel carried out airstrikes on Lebanon.
Due to the heightened tensions in the airspace, both Turkish Airlines (THY) and AJet have canceled their flights to Beirut.
THY announced the cancellation of the following flights: TK-824 Istanbul-Beirut, TK-824 Beirut-Istanbul, TK-826 Istanbul-Beirut, and TK-827 Beirut-Istanbul.
