Many Brits have been waiting for a long time for the UK government to remove Turkey from the red list so they can travel to their second homes in Turkey. Finally the UK government has taken the decision to remove Turkey from the red list, effective from 4th October, a decision which has made many Brits happy. Now, the question is where will British tourists be able to go to for the rest of the year?
To start off with, British tour operators are resuming flights to Dalaman and Antalya from October 4. It has been reported that Jet2 is already planning 56 flights for Dalaman and 30 for Antalya. According to the information obtained, Jet2 will further increase this capacity in the coming days.
EasyJet, another important tour operator will continue its flights to Dalaman until the end of October and Antalya throughout the winter.
On the other hand sources inform that TUI UK will resume flights to Dalaman and Antalya from October 3.
However, it is reported that none of said operators will operate to Izmir and Bodrum until the end of this year.
As other alternatives, Turkish Airlines and Pegasus will operate UK-Izmir flights and Pegasus will operate UK-Antalya flights, as well. (TG)
