Sergey CEMEZOV, General Manager of ROSTEK, Russia’s weapons and technology company has made a statement about the S-400 to be sold to Turkey. Cemezov said in a statement to journalists, the value of the contract for the delivery of S-400 missile systems to Turkey would exceed two billion dollars.

Vladimir Kojin, formerly the consultant responsible for the Russian President’s Military Technical Cooperation, said Russia and Turkey had signed the S-400 contract and that they were ready to put this contract into practice.

A short while ago Turkey had received serious criticism from Nato and the USA for having entered into such engagement with Russia. Turkey’s president had responded by saying “Turkey would be free to purchase such weapons wherever available as the Western Bloc denied to deliver same to Turkey.
