Economy in Turkey: Weekly performance of investment instruments

The weekly performance of various investment instruments has been revealed.

STOCK MARKET BIST 100

– The BIST 100 index saw its lowest at 10,486.70 points and highest at 10,824.21 points. It ended the week at 10,647.91 points, decreasing by 1.15% compared to the previous week’s closing.

GOLD PRICES

– The price of 24-carat gold bullion traded in the Grand Bazaar decreased by 0.24% to 2,452 lira per gram.

– The price of Republic gold also dropped by 0.67% to 16,200 lira.

– The price of a quarter gold coin fell from 4,090 lira to 4,066 lira.

FOREIGN EXCHANGE

– The US Dollar saw a limited decrease of 0.05%, dropping to 32.8170 lira.

– The Euro increased by 0.02%, rising to 35.1220 lira.

INVESTMENT FUNDS

– Investment funds gained 0.51%, while individual retirement funds increased by 0.39%.

– Among investment funds, the highest gainers were “Debt Instruments” and “Money Market” funds, each increasing by 0.94%.

Summary: The stock market (BIST 100) and gold showed a decline. The US Dollar experienced a slight decrease, while the Euro saw a small increase. Investment funds, particularly in debt instruments and money markets, provided gains.
