Minister’s statement on stray dogs in Turkey: “We will remove this issue from the national agenda”

The Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Ibrahim Yumaklı, discussed the issue of stray dogs with Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya. Minister Yumaklı announced that they would begin working on street animals issue.
He went on to say “By strengthening coordination between our ministries, we will implement our action plan decisively and remove this issue from the national agenda as soon as possible.”
In his meeting with Interior Minister Yerlikaya, Minister Yumaklı emphasized that they addressed the issue of stray dogs and said “Action plan for street animals will be implemented decisively” Minister Yumaklı made a statement on the matter via social media.
He shared that he had hosted Minister Yerlikaya at his ministry and made the following comments:
“We discussed the issue of stray dogs, which has become a significant security problem in our country. By strengthening coordination between our ministries, we will implement our action plan decisively and remove this issue from the national agenda as soon as possible. I thank Minister Yerlikaya for his kind visit.”
