Stabbing Attack in England: 2 Children Dead, 11 Injured

In an attack on a dance workshop in England, two children were killed and 11 people were injured. It was reported that the condition of eight of the injured is critical.
The knife attack took place at a Taylor Swift-themed yoga and dance workshop in Southport, near Liverpool. The attack resulted in the deaths of two children and injuries to at least nine others. Security forces stated that six of the children are in critical condition.
Police reported that two adults who were injured while “bravely trying to protect the children under attack” are also in critical condition. A 17-year-old suspect has been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.
Merseyside Police said no one else is being sought in connection with the attack and that “the motive for the attack is not yet clear.” The police do not believe the attack is linked to terrorism.
A business owner who called the police described the attack as “like a scene from a horror movie.” Journalist Tim Johnson recounted the events: “It was horrific. I had never seen anything like it before. There were so many police cars, a mass of blue lights. I saw people in tears in the ambulances.”
