Tourists who come here and want to see the bays, enjoy their holidays not only with day trips but also by renting commercial yachts. In the region, there are over 2,000 commercial yachts, which constitute a significant part of tourism.

TOTAL NUMBER OF VISITORS TO MUGLA INCREASE

The number of visitors to Muğla in the first three months of 2024 has been announced. According to the data released by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the total number of visitors to Muğla in the first three months of 2024 increased by 7.8% compared to the same period of 2023, reaching 58.7 thousand.

Although the tourism sector in Turkey had a rough start in 2023, there was a recovery towards the end of the year. It is stated that this recovery will be even higher in 2024, and records will be broken in tourism. It is stated that especially Russia and Middle Eastern countries, as well as young German tourists and newly joined Polish citizens, will show intense interest in Turkey in 2024. In addition to this, it was noted that domestic tourists filled early bookings for holidays in 2024.
