Nemrut Mountain and Kervansaray Hotel

NEMRUT KERVANSARAY HOTEL: During the tourist season many people visit the famous grave monument of King Antiochos I on Nemrut Dag. Not only are these world famous statues irresistible but the beautiful sunsets and sunrises are appreciated by visitors, as well.

The Hotel Kervansaray was built in 1988 at an altitude of 1245 metres near one of the most fascinating places in the world. The hotel is the nearest to the 2206 metre summit of the tumulus.

The Hotel is therefore a good starting point for the last 8 kilometres to the top of the monument.  Hotel Kervansaray provides you with the opportunity to experience the hospitality of the local people and we will make you feel at home. The hotel has 50 beds (20 rooms).

Thanks to this the small scale the hotel can offer its guests the maximum attention. The personnel speak several languages and will do their utmost to make guests feel as comfortable as possible. Each room has an ensuite bathroom with hot and cold running water and the rooms are clean and neat. In addition, there is a swimming pool which gives guests a chance to relax. Next to the hotel is a small camping site. Guests can sleep under a clear sky with thousands of stars through the night.

The chef is a master in making local food as well as providing more western-style meals to ensure guests enjoy their meals. Here, guests will be offered more than just a stay for the night.
