Turkey’s Economy Minister says Turkey will be number one in G20

Speaking at the AK Party Kütahya 6th Ordinary Central District Congress, Mr. ZEYBEKCI, Turkey’s Minister of Economy pointed out to the to the third quarter growth rates and stated that Turkey would perform better than China and India in G20 which brings together the 20 largest countries in the world and rank number one.

The Minister spoke at the AK Party Kütahya 6th Ordinary Central District Congress held at Hazer Dinar Cultural Center in Kütahya Municipality and noted that last year Turkey was one of the countries with the highest growing rate in the world despite the 15th of July coup attempt.

Zeybekci also commented that the current year would be a legendary period for Turkey and the Turkish economy and added “You should be aware of this, and feel proud as Ak Party members. We are now the third fastest growing country among G20 countries. We will be number one in the world in the third quarter of 2017, covering July, August and September. Turkey will be number one in the G20 comprising the 20 biggest countries of the world, outperforming China and India. I hope that by the end of the year we will also reach the target we are aiming for. We will achieve a growth rate of 6 percent or slightly higher.”
