Turkey’s Undersecretariat of Treasury announces its borrowing program

The Treasury is planning a domestic borrowing of 39.3 billion TL in August-October. External borrowing will not be done in this period. Treasury is planning 5 tenders in August, 5tenders in September and 7 tenders in October. The Undersecretariat of Treasury has announced its domestic borrowing strategy for August-October 2017 period. Accordingly, the Treasury is planning to make a domestic borrowing of 39.3 billion TL against a domestic debt service of 27.1 billion TL in the next three months. Based on said announcement external borrowing is not be done in this period.

According to the 3 month strategy made public, a total of TL 8.7 billion of domestic borrowing is planned in August, for a total of TL 6.0 billion of domestic debt service.

In September, a total of TL 10.9 billion in domestic borrowing is programmed against a total of 7.5 billion TL of domestic debt service.

In October, a total of TL 19.7 billion in domestic borrowing is programmed against a total of TL 13.6 billion in domestic debt service.
