5 thousand 102 people were injured during sacrificial slaughters

On the first day of Eid al-Adha, citizens who wanted to slaughter their victims (sheep etc.) themselves filled the emergency services this year, as well. Except for Istanbul, 5,102 people were injured throughout the country by cutting tools or animal blows during the slaughter of victims across the country.

On the first day of Eid al-Adha, citizens went to the slaughter points designated by the municipality to sacrifice after performing Eid prayers.

Some people performed this slaughter act in front of their homes or on empty areas. As every year, many people were injured during the slaughter this year, either by knives or by animal blows.

The injured people went to hospitals with the help of relatives or ambulances. This caused an intensity in the emergency departments of hospitals. This year, 5 thousand 102 people were injured throughout the country, except for Istanbul.
