Foreign Minister says Greece hopes there will be no conflict in Eastern Mediterranean

Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias has said he hoped that countries in the Eastern Mediterranean would overcome the conflict by complying with international law. Dendias mentioned that he wished to see no conflict in the region.

The developments after Turkey wanted to conduct seismic research in the Eastern Mediterranean had raised tensions between Greece and Turkey.

Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias who met with US Secretary of State Pompeo, said: “I hope there will be no conflict if everyone acts logically and acts according to international law.”
