A new era in maritime tourism is beginning between Greece and Turkey

Stating that the decision could result in a 20% increase in the number of Turkish citizens visiting the Greek Islands in 2024, Şimşek also mentioned that Greek passengers would also travel more to Turkey.

Şimşek pointed out that these developments marked the beginning of a new era in maritime tourism, and he also noted that the Ayvalık-Midilli gateway could reach a record-breaking 120,000 passengers in the 2024 season.
