According to Central Bank survey Dollar / TL rate expected at end of year goes up

The April results of the expectations survey which compiles the expectations of participants from the real and financial sector, have been published by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT).

Inflation expectations were revised upward after a sharp rise in the exchange rate in March, according to the survey results. According to the survey, the year-end inflation forecast for April was set at 13.12 percent.

DOLLAR EXPECTATION RISES FAST

In the “CBRT Expectations Survey” a rapid rise in dollar/TL exchange rate expectations for the end of the year was noted. Accordingly, the year-end dollar/TL rate expectation was recorded as 8.5749 in the April survey. Same figure was 7,9455 in the March poll.
