Air temperatures will continue to rise – How will the weather be during holiday?
The General Directorate of Meteorology has published the 5-day weather forecast report. It is predicted that the air temperatures throughout the country will increase and will be above the seasonal normal.
According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: It is predicted that Turkey will be partly cloudy and very cloudy, Marmara, Aegean (except Muğla), inner parts of the Western Mediterranean, northwestern Central Anatolia, Western and Central Black Sea, and Yozgat, Kayseri, Sivas and Giresun areas will experience torrential and thundery downpours.
AIR TEMPERATURE: It is predicted that it will increase by 2 to 4 degrees in eastern parts while there will be no significant changes in other places.
WIND: It is expected to blow light from the south, with moderate force from time to time.
HOW WILL THE WEATHER BE DURING THE HOLIDAY?
According to the report published by MGM for the period between April 16 and 22, rainy weather is expected in the whole country on 1st and 2nd days of holiday. Some regions in Turkey will experience following conditions.
MARMARA: It is partly cloudy and very cloudy, it is predicted that the whole region will see showers, including local showers and thunderstorms in places.
AEGEAN: It is expected to be partly cloudy and very cloudy, with showers and thunderstorms in places, including local showers throughout the region (except Muğla).
MEDITERRANEAN: It is forecast to be partly cloudy and very cloudy, and the inner parts of the Western Mediterranean will experience local downpours and thunderstorms in places.
