Air ticket prices increase up to 3 times days before holiday

It is reported that there have been major increases in bus and plane ticket prices days before the holiday. Since there is a wide segment of people who want to spend the holiday in their hometown or on a trip/vacation, companies are observed to increase the ticket prices.

According reports on the media, there is a big difference between the prices announced days before the holiday and the prices thereafter.

Air ticket prices have flown

Flights from Istanbul to other cities have increased by up to 300 percent in one week. For instance on April 15 ticket from Istanbul to Kars was TL 1,128 whereas now it costs 3,000.

Transfer ticket costs 3 thousand TL

The flight ticket from Istanbul to Antalya has climbed up to 3,000 TL. The reason is after direct flights tickets are finished only transfer and business class tickets have remained to be available.

Citizens who want to travel via airline on the holiday have had to pay this amount due to the intensity of ticket sales and hikes before the holiday.

Bus ticket prices have also increased

Citizens are considering turning to bus tickets due to the cost of air tickets, while bus companies have also increased prices. It has become almost impossible to find the same ticket price now that one could get last week at the same price.
