It is reported that the government may lift the curfew applied to 65 and over for 3 hours only, at weekends. Accordingly if this realizes those 65 and over will be able go out in the street with mask and social distance rules.

The government is reported to be reviewing some decisions on the coronavirus outbreak. In meetings held at AK Party and ministries, evaluations were made on the fight against coronavirus. Curfew over 65 is one of the first decisions, so a method is being developed to partially relieve this group and reduce the psychological distress caused by constant stay at home.

In line with the demands made by the public, it is planned that over 65 years of age will be allowed on curfew-enforced weekends. This plan will be implemented on the condition that going out to the street is 3 hours a day, wearing a mask and maintaining social distance. The decision concerns 7.5 million people who have been unable to take to the streets since March 21.
