British holidaymakers become nervous about their holidays as requests for changes keep coming

Travel agencies operating in the UK note that due to cancellations of flights owing to lack of staff at airports and airline companies, customers are worried about going on a trip.
Noting that airline companies are constantly changing their schedules after flight cancellations during the half-year break, the agents say that the first agenda between them and their customers at the moment is the long queues at airports.
THEY CHANGE THEIR HOLIDAYS
Director of a travel network company noted that the two most fundamental problems in the travel industry currently were flight cancellations and long queues at airports. “That’s why some customers are worried about going on vacation this summer and are changing their vacation to avoid disruptions” the director said.
THERE IS NOTICEABLE SHIFT IN BOOKINGS
Managing Director of another company said customers were constantly on the phone asking if there was a problem with their flights, while another professional noted that travellers were starting to change their holiday dates. This person said: “There has been a noticeable shift in bookings for the winter period of 2022 and 2023 in the last few weeks. At the same time, questions have multiplied about whether their holidays will be affected. Some guests are switching from long-distance holidays to more affordable short-distance holidays.” (TG)
