Central Bank of Turkey announces inflation expectation for 2020

The inflation rate announcements are made by the Turkish Statistical Institute at the beginning of each month. July August inflation rate will be announced on 4 August. However the expectation for 2020 has already been announced by the bank

Central Bank President Murat Uysal has noted that the inflation for 2020 is projected to be 8.9 per cent at the end of the year and 6.2 per cent at the end of 2021.

The President added that the inflation was projected to enter a downward trend starting July 2020.
