Sındırgı Shaken by Two Morning Quakes

Balıkesir’s Sındırgı district experienced a new wave of tremors this morning. According to the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), the first earthquake occurred at 10:10 AM with a magnitude of 4.6. The quake struck at a depth of 6.22 kilometers and was felt in surrounding regions.

Another Tremor Minutes Later
Shortly after the first quake, a second earthquake hit at 10:54 AM. AFAD reported that this second tremor had a magnitude of 4.8 and a depth of 7 kilometers. Residents in Balıkesir, Bursa, Eskişehir, and İzmir also felt the shaking.

Authorities are closely monitoring the region for potential aftershocks. So far, no major damage or injuries have been reported, but local teams remain on alert.
