Rossiya Airlines says flights from Russia to Turkey run with 100 percent occupancy rate

Sergey Starikov, director of Russian airline Rossiya Airlines has announced following the resumption of reciprocal flights between Russia and Turkey all flights so far have been realized with 100 percent occupancy.

After the new type of corona virus (Covid-19) spread rapidly all over the world, inter-country air traffic was halted. As part of the return to normal regarding the corona virus outbreak, Russian tourists began to flock to Turkey when it was decided to start flights between Turkey and Russia on August 1. Sergey Starikov, director of Rossiya Airlines, which carries airlines from Russia to the Aegean and Mediterranean in particular, explained that the security of the flight was mutually enhanced and provided details.

Starikov stated that the measures were increased as a result of the joint efforts of Turkey and Russia, and that high-fever passengers were detected by cameras installed at airports and that the passengers were placed under surveillance directly by paramedics. Starikov said the passenger who was placed under surveillance, was subjected to tests and not accepted to the flight.

The director said that Russian tourists filled out the information form on the plane after their trip to Turkey, and that the health information of the passenger was recorded in the central system by the airline. Starikov stated that passengers were informed of the corona virus by distributing leaflets on planes, and that passengers should definitely use masks on the aircraft and otherwise passengers who behaved were reported to security forces. Starikov also voiced that they would start flights from the city of Petersburg as off August 10.
