Stating that the figures of 2019 were reached during the early booking period, a tourism experts said that early booking sales in Europe had reached the level of 2019. Regarding the issue the experts shared following:

WE CAUGHT 2019 IN EARLY BOOKINGS

“The figures of 2019 have been reached so far in the early booking period that started in October. The early booking period in the European market starts in October and continues until May. This year, the early booking period started in October. October November and December bookings are one-to-one compared to the 2019 figures at the moment. We have reached the 2019 figures on a monthly and sales basis. This shows that the 2023 season will be a good season.”

He went on to say the following:

“If there is no problem, 10 thousand reservations can be taken from the European market daily. We are waiting for the performance of January-February in the European market. The performance of this period will actually reveal our picture about 2023.

The performance in January February 15th period is very important. We expect the bookings in the European market to increase starting January 15. We plan to receive serious bookings on a daily basis. It would not be very accurate to pronounce the figure, but I think we can reach the daily 10 thousand figures or even go above it.”

ANTALYA COULD EXPECT 17 MILLION TOURISTS

The expert went on to say:

“In 2019, we caught the figure of 15 million 600 thousand in Antalya. I think we will exceed this figure in 2023. We will reach 16 million, maybe 17 million. This is our goal, this is how we dream. Everything is going well at the moment. If everything goes well next term, we plan to have a good season.”
