Early election statement from Davutoglu: Be ready for a surprise any moment

Ahmet DAVUTOGLU, leader of the Future Party (and ex-PM) has made a statement drawing attention to the early election debates. He said “Mr. Bahçeli (MHP leader) says, no way. At the beginning of 2002, Mr. Bahceli said, “there is no election.” At the end of the year, he personally pushed for elections. Don’t consider his word. Bahçeli has never kept his promise in this sense. Be ready for a surprise, any moment.”

Future Party leader Ahmet Davutoglu arrived in Afyonkarahisar for the opening of the provincial presidential building of his party and the elections in the southern resort. Speaking on said occasion he made some important remarks.

Davutoglu said Turkey needed clean politics and shared following:

* The first victory of the Future Party will be in the GUNEY resort of Afyon. It has been a year since we established the Future Party. We go around whole Turkey.

* What we have experienced in the last 3 weeks has revealed many things in Turkey. Think about it we always said “clean politics is needed in Turkey”. We said “gangs consume the resources of the nation, impoverish the nation.” We said it was time to get up.

* Our recent experiences have shown the most beautiful signs of why we founded The Future Party.

“WE WILL NOT ALLOW THE REPUTATION OF THE STATE TO BE DAMAGED”

Davutoglu, reacting to the failure to open an investigation into the allegations of Sedat Peker, the leader of the criminal organization, said:

“The leader of an organized crime organization abroad, has made very serious accusations for those who were a minister and a prime minister once. No one came out and said, “This man is lying, the Interior Minister is innocent, the former prime minister is innocent.”
