Economy in Turkey: Results of inflation expectation survey by Anadolu Agency Finance, announced

According to the survey conducted by Anadolu Agency Finance, which involved 15 economists, the average inflation forecast for November is 1.98%. The economists’ expectations for the end-of-year inflation for 2024 stand at 45.07%.

The survey, based on expectations for the November inflation data, was carried out by 15 economists and covers the inflation figures to be announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute on December 3rd.

The economists’ expectations for November inflation ranged from 1.70% to 2.54%, with the average expectation being 1.98%. This indicates a forecasted decrease in annual inflation from 48.58% in October to 46.71% in November.

Additionally, economists’ inflation expectations for the end of 2024 were set at 45.07%. In October, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) had seen a 2.88% increase.
